Working well ahead of the kick off date, Melbourne’s Crown Casino announced Tuesday the dates and schedule for the hugely popular Aussie Millions poker tournament, which will start on January 23 next year and run through to February 10.

The 2014 edition will as usual feature a selection of different game styles and buy-ins on 20 different events, with high points like the A$25,000 Challenge, the A$100,000 Challenge, the A$250,000 Challenge and the A$10,000 buy-in Main Event.

The Aussie Millions traditionally attracts the world’s best international players, and the 2014 edition is expected to continue to pull them in, creating a festival of top tier poker.

In related news, Pokerstars has launched its Mega Path satellite promos leading to the annual Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure – another top international tournament that is usually well attended by global poker professionals.

Mega Path satellites are available several times a day on the Pokerstars website, where players unable to afford the PCA buy-ins can win main event prize packages worth over $15,500 in eight tournament stages with relatively small buy-ins.

The PCA has been running smoothly for a decade, and last year over 400 players won main event seats, with 53 cashing for a total of $3.5 million, says Pokerstars’ man in charge of the PCA, David Carrion.
