With the recent launch of Caesars Interactive Entertainment’s WSOP.com turning up the competitive heat in Nevada’s newly legalised online poker market, first mover Ultimate Poker.com started offering real-money Pot Limit Omaha games Wednesday.
The pioneering site is offering six-handed tables of $1-$2 PLO and $0.10-$0.25 PLO, and a wider variety are likely to follow as the two rivals strive for market share, according to a company representative.
The introduction of PLO games ratchets up Ultimate Poker’s competitive response to WSOP.com, which launched with Hold’em, Seven Card Stud and Omaha games.
