Two more new websites have gone up in preparation for the opening of the intrastate New Jersey online gambling market later this month.
Ultimate Gaming, the parent group for Nevada’s first legal online poker site Ultimate Poker.com, has launched ucasino.com and is busy registering players for a software package of online casino and poker action provided by subsidiary Cyberarts and a mix of IGT and SHFL games.
Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment has gone live with a PartyPoker website at PartyPokerNJ.com using the slogan “get back in the game”, and marketing activity has already started, mainly via social media.
Both sites are the latest from a growing list of land-digital company partnerships getting set to compete in what is shaping up to be a very interesting online gambling market (see previous reports).
These include Betfair and its LetsPlayNJ site; The Tropicana, which is deploying Gamesys software; two Borgata sites powered by Bwin-Amaya; Golden Nugget.com using a Bally Tech – Ongame combo; Trump Taj Mahal which will be powered by Ultimate Gaming; and Trump Plaza, which has partnered with Betfair.
Also in the running and likely to launch sites before the new market opens are Caesars Entertainment casinos using software from 888, whilst there are currently unconfirmed rumours that Pokerstars may have run into ‘bad actor’ licensing difficulties in its new partnership with Resorts Casino.
