Citing a lack of player liquidity, Bodog88 Poker’s stand-alone network has restricted action to just two regions, withdrawing from all other markets to concentrate on China and Vietnam.
Asian players were informed of the decision last week, and have ten days to exhaust loyalty and VIP points, whilst valid tournament tickets will be reimbursed at cash value.
The decision does not affect the company’s casino and sportsbook operations, which remain active in all jurisdictions.
In addition to Bodog88, which is Asian-facing, the brand is carried by Bovada, which operates in the US market, and BodogEU which services Canadian players.
