Veteran poker ace Mukul Pahuja delivered an impressive display of poker skill and talent Monday to take down the last of this year’s World Series of Poker Circuit events at Harrahs Atlantic City.

The $1,675 buy-in Main Event pulled in 460 entries to generate a prize pool worth $690,000, which was fiercely contested over a three day period.

On the final day Pahuja faced a final table that comprised American players Jake Toole, Gajan Jeganathan, Michael Dentale (chip leader), James Petolicchio, Adam Teasdale, Jesse Cohen, Joseph Liberta and David Matthews.

The heads up stage saw Pahuja, holding a massive 5 to 1 chip lead, facing off against Hoboken, New Jersey player Jake Toole.  That significant advantage enabled him to send Toole to the exit within a few minutes to collect the runner up prize of $91,722.

Pahuja was awarded the honours, a first prize pay check of $148,345, a gold championship ring and a seat into the season-ending National Championship.

Other final table pay-outs looked like this:

Gajan Jeganathan $67,006
Michael Dentale $49,673
James Petolicchio $37,357
Adam Teasdale $28,497
Jesse Cohen $22,046
Joseph Liberta $17,298
David Matthews $13,766
