The departure of Unibet’s poker chief Martin Stalros to Relax Gaming has created an opportunity, albeit an “interim” one whilst a permanent head is sought, for Andrew West.
West is on the list for consideration as permanent head of poker, but in the meantime will run the operation, a role for which he is well qualified by eight years in management at Pokerstars, and further experience at Ladbrokes Poker before he joined Unibet eighteen months ago.
Third quarter 2014 year-on-year revenues from online poker at Unibet have suffered a 31 percent decline.
