BetConstruct’s latest poker software update debuts Bad Beat Guard tables, following the prior introduction of No Bad Beat tables.
No Bad Beat tables make it possible to refund a player’s contribution to the pot if they experience a Poker Bad Beat but its latest update provides players the option to protect themselves in all-situations from bad beats with Bad Beat Guard tables.
Bad Beat Guard is set at 70.0 percent and is activated when one of the players has a win rate higher than 70 percent, BetConstruct said. “If the player with a higher win rate (e.g. 91.62%) loses to his opponent with a lower win rate (e.g. 8.38%), the first player qualifies for BBG action and the losing player irrespective of stronger cards is refunded for that hand.”
