Speaking to local media on the eve of New Jersey joining the multi-state online poker player pool Tuesday, David Rebuck, director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, said that the Caesar’s brand, operators of the tri-state poker pool, has laboratory-tested all aspects of the technology and proved that it is effective.
New Jersey will join the internet poker pool gaming arrangement with Delaware and Nevada in a roll out slated to begin May 1.
“One of the needs of the online gambling community has always been the need for what they call liquidity or greater liquidity, meaning greater player pools that can be utilized in games such as poker,” Rebuck explained. “They are highly dependent on numbers of players to compete against one another in the contest or the gambling activity.”
