Israeli poker pro Timur Margolin has claimed his second WSOP gold bracelet and the main prize of Euro 134,407 after besting a field of 666 (not for the superstitious!) in the Euro 1,100 buy-in Monster Stack NLHE event at the World Series of Poker Europe currently taking place at Kings Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
Margolin dominated the final table action from the five-handed stage, eliminating one opponent after another until be faced Chilean pro Raul Villarroel in the heads up. The Chilean put up a gallant fight but the 8 to 1 lead Margolin held was unassailable and it was all over in thirty minutes.
Villarroel’s runner up pay day was worth Euro 134,407, whilst third-placed Sebastian Ulrich of Germany took home Euro 57,447.
