The fifth edition of the Pokerstars Micromillions is in the record books as a great success, having paid out over Euro 8 million over the 11 days it was running this month.
Pokerstars says that over 1.3 million entries were recorded for the 100 low buy-in events, which came with Euro 5 million in total guarantees. The prize pools generated by the enthusiastic response from online poker fans totalled $8.276 million.
Player of the Series title went to Russian player “JustProSkill,” who cashed in 30 events and made two final tables, whilst the $22 buy-in NLHE main event attracted a field of 59,213 and was won by a Lithuanian player who scored almost $161,000 – the biggest yet in the Micromillions series of tournaments.
