The High Stakes Database reports that Wednesday witnessed a mid-week massacre of some high profile poker professionals playing the virtual nosebleed tables at Full Tilt Poker.

Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom and Gus ‘The Great Dane’ Hansen were among the biggest losers, dropping hundreds of thousands of dollars during the session in clashes with lesser known but clearly equally potent online aces.

Hansen took the biggest beating, losing $534,618 in 2,367 hands on the $1,500/$3,000 2-7 Triple Draw and FLO8 tables, according to HSDB. The hammering brought his losses so far in 2013 to $3.5 million

Blom experienced one of his famous downswings, losing $255,062 playing in some of the same games as Hansen, whilst Dwan took a $210,393 beating playing $400/$800 NLHE tables, where he clashed with KidPoker705, Denoking and IReadYrSoul Millar over 1,000 hands.

For every loser there’s a happy winner, and the aces in profits when the session closed were led by Denoking (up $214,000), Patrik Antonius ( up $205,000) and Niklas “Ragen70” Heinecker.
