FTP affiliates rejoice!.

Garden City Group, the reimbursement administrator appointed by the US Department of Justice to verify and pay out the millions of dollars set aside for former Full Tilt Poker players, has widened the claims window to include affiliate marketers owed money following the Black Friday shutdown of the “old” Full Tilt.

In acquiring Full Tilt after the April 2011 debacle, Pokerstars was required by Justice officials to deposit hundreds of millions of dollars to ensure that players caught up in the massive failure of FTP were made whole again (see previous reports).

Garden City has announced that claims from eligible marketing affiliates will soon be accepted, although where they elected to be paid through their player accounts, affiliates will have to prove what percentage of the account was remuneration for affiliate activity.

The administrator does not yet appear to have all the information on affiliate payments against which to verify claims. It has advised that once FTP has provided these records it will be in touch with affiliates on the records with instructions on how to claim. Affiliates thus contacted will then have 30 days to lodge a claim.
