Following on the heels of its stated plans to build a shared player pool with online poker operators licensed in Nevada (see previous reports), 888 Holdings has announced that it has inter-state ambitions as well.
The online gambling company, which has become increasingly active in the nascent US online poker market, has unveiled plans to be a lead player in building a shared market between Delaware and Nevada, two states that have legalised online gambling and have approved compacts with other like-minded states.
888’s vehicle for the grand plan is its All America Poker Network, which brings together both software and business partners in the two states.
“We are aiming to deploy a shared poker network across the two states which will offer poker players in each state an enhanced customer experience,” a statement from 888 explained.
“We remain fully committed to the US market through our B2B business as well as through our interest in the AAPN joint venture. Through our technical, operational and commercial expertise and flexibility we continue to be in an exceptionally strong position as the market regulates.”
