888Poker sent 250 players to the WSOP this year.

888Poker’s partnership with the World Series of Poker this year resulted in the European online poker provider sending 250 players from 35 nations to Las Vegas for the world’s most prestigious tournament.

148 of these won seats in the main event currently running its course at the Rio, whilst the rest played in the inaugural 888 Crazy Eights event.

The company’s satellite competitions proved extremely popular, attracting over 135,000 participants since February 2016.

The generous winner packages included event buy-ins, accommodation and travel expenses, and the company’s satellites sent several big name players to the $10,000 buy-in main event, including Dzmitry Urbanovich from Poland, Germany’s Tobias Reinkemeier, UK pro Toby Lewis and Anton Wigg from Sweden.

The company additionally has an international squad of eight top-notch professional players representing it as ambassadors in the main event
