German poker pro Ole Schemion demonstrated his skill and determination again over the weekend in powering to victory in the Euro 10,300 buy-in EPT San Remo High Roller, besting an entry field of 104 other hopefuls to claim the winner’s check for Euro 265,000.
The three-hour final table was an action-packed affair in which Schemion faced Max Greenwood, Alex Bilokur, Philip Sternheimer, Mustapha Kunit, Griffin Benger, Tamer Kamel and Imed Ben Mahmoud
Fourth and third placed Phillip Sternheimer and Alex Bilokur were eliminated within minutes of each other to clear the way for the heads up between Schemion and Max Greenwood, which Schemion quickly settled with a significant chip lead, sending Greenwood home with a second placing prize of Euro 182,100.
