The 2017 PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker has again generated six-figure prizes for online victories in its slew of events, with the latest including top earner Maxwell ‘maxv2’ Ludwig, who plays from Costa Rica.

Ludwig bested a field of 3,582 to win the TCOOP Main Event and claim the top prize of $489,075.72, by far his biggest online poker pay day yet. In the heads up he faced and bested Finnish pro ‘Timonpoika’, whose consolation prize was a hefty $351,648.23. Three other players, Russian player ‘v0vapr0’, Malta-based ‘danh’s89’ and German ace ‘cube.com’ each earned more than $100,000 at the final table.

In another TCOOP event, the clearly mis-named Vicente ‘vicenfish’ Delgado Zamorano triumphed in a field of 569 who entered the $3,000 buy-in High Roller competition, earning himself $287,060.33 – the second largest cash of his online career. Zamorano will be remembered for his earlier $700,000 victory in 2014 a WCOOP High Roller. He clashed with ‘bodamos’ in the heads up, sending him to the exit and the runner up prize of $210,414.03. Among the survivors of the final table was Belgium’s ‘Coenaldinho7′, a former 2015 WCOOP champion who finished third this year and collected $154,232.98.

Two more big pay days were awarded in the TCOOP $700 buy-in Six Max Ultra Deep NLHE event, which was won by ’99_shark_94’ from Slovakia, who claimed the main prize of $154,415 and change after besting Russian player Arten ‘veeea’ Vezhenkov, who took home $100,937.
