English professional poker player Neil Channing’s Black Belt Poker skin will close its virtual doors at midnight on February 28th.
Channing said in a blog post on Black Belt Poker: “Sadly sometimes in life you just have to accept that things are not working and you need to move on. That time has come with Black Belt Poker.”
There are apparently discussions in progress with another iPoker skin which Channing says will hopefully provide a channel for which players can redeem their Spending Points.
He went on to assure players that their balances were safely held by Black Belt Poker partner and cashier cage provider Boyle Poker in a ring-fenced bank account but urged players to log on to their account prior to Friday, 28 February and execute a withdrawal in the usual method. Players who fail to do so before the skin switches off will need to contact Boyle Poker directly for a withdrawal which may take a little longer due to additional identification requirements.
Any queries can be directed to neil@blackbeltpoker.com or support@blackbeltpoker.com or via telephone at 08003160441.
Channing signed off saying: “All that remains is for me to thank everyone who invested, who worked hard for us, who were sponsored by us, who participated in poker discussions on our website and particularly those who played on Black Belt Poker”.
