Pokerstars has released the schedule for its twelfth European Poker Tour Grand Final, which will take place at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort in Monaco between April 25 and May 6 this year.
Pokerstars has allied with the French Poker Series for this major festival, which will feature just under 80 tournaments and ring games running for much of the day.
In a statement announcing the schedule PokerStars director of live events Edgar Stuchly said:
“This season’s PokerStars and MonteCarlo Casino EPT Grand Final promises to the biggest and best yet. As always, our flagship events will attract the best players in the world to Monaco, but we have a wider range of tournaments than ever before this season, giving everyone a chance to compete. We are also hoping to break our record for the number of online qualifiers. We look forward to seeing thousands of players at our Season 12 finale.”
The main event, which carries a reduced GBP 5,300 buy-in, will start April 30 with two opening days before playing down to a winner on May 5. Other flagship events in the line-up include a Euro 10,300 High Roller, a Euro 100,000 Super High Roller, a Euro 50,000 Single-Day Super High Roller, and a Euro 25,750 High Roller. The French Poker Series main event will have a Euro 1,100 buy-in and is scheduled for April 27 – May 1.
Satellites have already started.
A range of poker variants features in the schedule, including NLHE, Pot Limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha hi-low, H.O.R.S.E and open-face Chinese, with tournament formats that include freezeout, reentry, super knockout, Flipout, and shootout.
