Sunday saw the launch of the 26th edition of Full Tilt’s popular Full Tilt Online Poker Series with 31 events and guaranteed prize pools worth $4.5 million.
Poker fans from all over the world flocked to the virtual tables, getting FTOPS XXVI off to a rollicking start in a competition that will see a diversity of poker genres played by competitors in a slew of different events, with the series running through to August 17.
Motivated players will be chasing cashes and the opportunity to win a gold FTOPS jersey and avatar to show their poker prowess, and the ace who emerges at the end of the tournament in the top position on the leaderboard will receive a four-month Black Card Pro sponsorship contract and 100 percent cash back on all his or her action.
The big one is the main event, a NLHE competition with a $635 buy-in which takes place on the last day of the tournament and carries a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
