The twenty-ninth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series is set to launch with 46 events tomorrow (Sunday) and will run through March 13, the company has announced.
There is speculation that this may be the last FTOPS, given the announcement earlier this week that Amaya plans to merge the Full Tilt and Pokerstars sites sometime in the northern hemisphere spring (see previous reports).
The series will be supported as usual by satellite competitions for tickets, and these have already commenced.
This time around the popular MiniFTOPS has been dropped, but there’s a range of low buy-in events that will enable low rollers to participate.
Most of the events will again be NLHE, there are other variants on offer such as Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha hi-low, no-limit Omaha hi-low, RAZZ, H.O.R.S.E., seven-game, 10-game, and 25-game, with a range of tournaments that includes four-max, six-max, full-ring, knockout, turbo, super-turbo, multi-entry, re-entry, rebuy, mega stack, and Rush Poker.
The main event will take place on March 13 with buy-ins at $500, two re-entries permitted and a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000.
