Online high stakes player Gus Hansen returned to a devastating cooler this week which puts him on track for one of the worst years in online poker for a professional….down around $10 million over the past year.
Late last month Hansen scored a couple of big wins which raised hopes that he was coming out of a seriously bad phase, but this week he was hammered for another $889,668 in 1,547 hands, according to reports on the High Stakes Data Base website.
Facing his nemesis Kagome Kagome on the nosebleed $2,000/$4,000 2-7 Triple Draw tables at Full Tilt Poker, Hansen’s biggest loss of the night was just under $600,000, with others on the Flo8 tables.
Hansen has struggled to return to his pre-Black Friday form, when he was up $5 million at one point.
