Internet and mobile casino group Guts.com has chosen Microgaming to launch an online poker offering.
The company already has a commercial relationship with the Isle of Man software provider through its Quickfire online casino games division, and has now extended this with an agreement to use the MPN online poker network.
The new vertical will be offered from end-2015, it is expected, and Guts hopes the addition will attract more players and widen the scope of its geographic operations.
Robin Reed, CEO of Guts parent, Gaming Innovation Group, said Friday:
“Gaming Innovation Group originated from the poker industry thus this beautiful game is in our DNA. We are thrilled by the prospects of building a great player experience by promoting poker at the intersection of sports and social entertainment.
“Microgaming is an institution in online poker, and is continuing to display its commitment to the game through rapid product innovations and a popular live tour.”
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, commented: “An existing customer of our Quickfire Casino product, we’re delighted to be extending our relationship with the Gaming Innovation Group through our poker platform. The Guts brand is a welcome addition to the MPN.”
