James Moore (66) won his second World Series Of Poker career bracelet when he took down Event 35, the $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold’em for a $259,230 payday at the Rio this week.
Moore emerged victorious from a record field of 1,720 paid entries, ultimately defeating Kerry Goldberg in headsup play.
Event 35 was the third edition of the WSOP’s Super Seniors Championship and its most successful with paid entries outstripping the previous record by 187 and a prize pool of $1,548,000 from which 258 players made the money.
