World Series of Poker event 60, the $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold’em wrapped up with Romanian Alexandru Papazian winning his first WSOP gold bracelet in the 2017 series after defeating German Kilian Kramer heads-up in the special eight-themed tournament.
Papazian pocketed a massive $888,888, his sixth WSOP career cash, and became the first Romanian in WSOP history to win a bracelet.
A field of 8,120 built a massive $6,489,504 prize pool of which the top 1,119 players cashed.

Shai Zurr became the second Israeli in this year’s WSOP series to win a gold bracelet, taking down fast paced event 65, the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’Em (30 minute levels).
Zurr denied Serbian Ognjen Sekularac a first bracelet win for his country, taking home $223,241 and his first WSOP bracelet.
The event drew 1,413 entrants and delivered a prize pool of $1,271,700 of which 212 players cashed.
