Rush Street Productions’ new poker television show The Final Table is reportedly ready to screen after more than eight months of production and visits to major games at top US gambling venues.
Scheduled to air this summer, the show features carefully selected footage from the most exciting final tables, with the last five players standing competing for big cash prizes and the chance to appear on national television shows at famous gambling venues.
A studio panel comprising globally respected players Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Hellmuth, along with Joe “Stapes” Stapleton, will give their analysis of the action and bet on who they believe will win.
Rush Street produced the hit TV series Poker Night in America, and the company has high hopes that The Final Table will prove equally appealing to poker fans and viewers generally.
The show will be compered by Maria Ho and David Tuchman, who will be backed by picture-inpicture screens, in-depth analysis, and some comedic inserts.
The company has previously announced that the series will comprise 26 one-hour shows, culminating in a $1 million guaranteed prize pool tournament at the Choctaw Casino.
Other shooting venues have included Turning Stone Resort in New York, Canterbury Park in Minnesota, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and Thunder Valley Casino Resort near Sacramento.
