32-Year-old Irish poker pro Steve O’Dwyer took the 2014 ACOP ‘Macau Billionaire Poker’ Super High Roller title at the PokerStars LIVE Macau.
O’Dwyer topped a 52-player field that built a US$6.2 million prize pool, overcoming a stacked final table to ultimately defeat Ryan Fee heads-up.
This is O’Dwyer’s ninth career tournament title. He took the 2013 PokerStars EPT Grand Final title for Euro 1 224 000, naming the tournament win at the time as the highlight of his career.
The Irishman walked away with a HK$ 14 050 000 (US$1 811,828) pay check.
