The US has become a risky place for unregulated operators to do business, but player demand remains high, and for those bold enough to take their chances there are rewards.
The latest stats from independent online poker monitor Pokerscout indicate that the Winning Poker Network is surging at present, with traffic soaring 58 percent so far this year.
Pokerscout reports that at the end of 2014 cash game action at WPN stood at 300 players in a seven-day average; since then it has surged to 475 players, with WPN skins Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker responsible for the lion’s share of the increased interest.
As a result, WPN is now listed third and level with Chico Poker Network in the monitor’s list for unregulated poker in the United States.
