Texan poker pro, Andy Philachack (41) has bested an entry field of 1,565 to win the 2016 World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw $1,675 no-limit hold’em main event title, $393,188 in prize money and a WSOP Circuit gold ring, his second to date.
After moving up in terms of chip count from twelfth place at the start of the final day, Philachack defeated Jeffrey Landherr in heads-up play.
“Man, it just feels great,” Philachack said. “It was a battle. All these guys are wizards.”
