Online poker operator PKR is making significant changes under the leadership of Chris Welch, the first of which will see PKR move to the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) later this month and debut a revamped poker loyalty scheme renamed the PKR Poker VIP Club.
Players will be able to choose a poker alias which can be changed periodically, and play anonymous tables if they prefer to play incognito.
Along with the existing 3D poker download for PC, Mac, iOS and Android, customers will also have an Instant Play option through their desk browser which will eventually allow for the launch of Microgaming’s fast-fold variant, Blaze Poker.
In addition, PKR revealed the launch of a new website with improved My Account capability and a Banking section in thirteen currencies. Two new online casino destinations PKR Casino and PKR Vegas will debut with a range of table games and slots.
“PKR has survived (and sometimes thrived) for 10 years as a stand-alone poker room, but neither our staff, investors nor players are content with ‘survival’, and we have ambitious plans,” Welsh said in a public announcement.
