The Poker Central network has announced that it is to produce a television show based on this year’s $500,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, working in collaboration with WSOP contractor Poker Productions.
The plan is to flight the show on a major television network around August this year.
With a prize pool in excess of $25 million that includes a first prize of around $8 million, the competition is a magnet for both quality players and a vast potential audience of online and television poker fans.
Clint Stinchcomb, CEO of Poker Central said this week: “It’s sure to be one of the most captivating and popular tournaments in poker.”
The roster of players already includes Antonio Esfandiari, Dan Colman, Erik Seidel, Joseph Cheong, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Scott Seiver and Tom Dwan, and over 50 top aces are expected to register.
