A growing number of online poker fans are being given the opportunity to test drive the next iteration of Pokerstars’ popular software following an invitation to twoplustwo forum players to take version 7 for an alpha test run.
Experts have opined that Pokerstars 7 is a major step forward and the biggest change from the market leader in the last decade, offering a slew of new features and extensive presentation improvements.
It’s a massive project that has been in progress for the past two years, with at least a year spent on real-money testing.
It is the latter that twoplustwo frequenters have been invited to try out and discuss with company representatives and other poker players.
The poker information site Pokerfuse has been evaluating the changes and reports that there is a new lobby, a new Mercury table theme, and innovative features such as Quickseat, integrated news, better sign-up arrangements, a wider range of avatars and a new live events calendar.
