The PokerStars MicroMillions 6 series ended this week, delivering a set of figures that, whilst not quite matching the record-breaking edition 4 in the series, still delivered impressive statistics.
The 100 events generated a prize pool totalling $8,823,501.19 and 1,420,306 entrants, second only to MicroMillions 4, where 1,572,760 entries generated a prize pool of $9,588,892.60.
In the last event of this edition, a $22 buy-in NLHE main event, Brazilian player ‘TheManM’ picked up a first place prize of $126,000 after a three-way chop with players kabukiboy in Romania and Germany-based ZAR84. That event alone attracted 65,397 hopefuls who generated a prize-pool of $1,307,940, ensuring that 8,505 cashed.
The MicroMillions 6 Leader Board winner was ‘quixote123’ from Denmark, who cashed 31 times and made two final tables.
