An advisory from PokerStars reminds customers of the now defunct PKR poker room to submit their claims by the 28 February 2018 offer expiry deadline.
InfoPowa readers will recall PokerStars stepping in when PKR went under last year with an offer to reimburse account credits as a goodwill gesture (see previous InfoPowa reports). PokerStars offered to reimburse customer’s ‘dollar-for-dollar’ with no conditions attached regarding funds withdrawal.
PKR players should have received an email from PokerStars providing a link to the claims submission process. A FAQ can be read here.
Following the claim submission process, PKR account holders will receive refunds through their existing PokerStars accounts if they have one or they will need to create a new account.
“No player should be left unprotected and short-changed by an operator they trust,” a recent PokerStars statement reads. “So if players do receive an email, or haven’t had the chance to log-in, we would urge that they do so before February 28. It will only take a few minutes.”
