Innovation is always interesting, and Pokerstars used the recently completed European Poker Tour festival in Monte Carlo to assess player reactions to a few new ideas for the game.
The company’s ideas chief Christin Maschmann was on hand, poker table and all, to personally talk players, reporters and the just plain curious through a range of new concepts for the game that included:

* Blind Defender
* Texmaha
* One-Eyed Hold’em
* Random Board Hold’em
* Holdaha aka Omaxas aka Omahaxas Split
* Arch Hold’em, and
* Personal River
