Latin American poker players were in the spotlight at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival culminating in heads-up battle between Peruvian Diego Ventura and American export to Mexico Kevin Schultz, the last two standing from a field of 816.
Schultz emerged victorious following a spectacular bluff winning the title, a $1 491 580 pay check and a luxury watch.
“I felt good at the table. I had some pretty good reads on everybody, but you never know what’s going to happen,” Schultz said.
