Poker fans in New Jersey are in for a special treat next (May) month when Pokerstars launches a New Jersey-dedicated version of its popular Spring Championship of Online Poker.
A company representative on the 2plus2 poker forum revealed this week that a draft schedule has been drawn up proposing 27 prize pool guaranteed tournaments with High and Low buy-in versions of the games.
There will be a wide range of poker games represented in the line-up, including NLHE, PLO and PLO Hi/Lo, 8-Game and Stud, along with around sixteen derivatives, ensuring that all preferences are catered for.
The forum rep urged New Jersey players to give their input before the format is firmly set.
The big attraction will be NLHE main events with $500 or $50 buy-ins and NLHE High Roller competitions with buy-ins of $1,000 and $100.
