The Global Poker Index has organised a summit meeting in London of senior executives from major poker companies next (October) month, according to the publication Poker News.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss how best to take the industry forward, insiders said this week.
Sources informed that publication that top execs from Unibet. Microgaming, 888poker, Partypoker and iPoker have accepted invitations. The meeting will be closed to the public and the media, initial reports indicate.
Observers expect that GPI founder Alex Dreyfus will use the opportunity to discuss his proposed Global Poker League.
