The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) EVENT 22 $5,250 Championship saw Jason Koon emerge victorious from an entry field of 847 with a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.
“It’s something that I reminded myself to burn into my brain, so on rough days I can think about this awesome day,” Koon said post-win.
Koon defeated one of his closest friends and former roommate Seth Davies heads-up to win $1 million and the title in the freeze-out event which was live streamed around the world.

German poker pro Marvin Rettenmaier conquered SHRPO’s $25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) event, besting a field of 105.
The table played down to Rettenmaier in heads-up play with Dan Colman with a first prize of $787,497, the title and the SHRPO High Roller trophy up for grabs.
The final hand saw Colman get all in with the best hand preflop but Rettenmaier came from behind when he flopped a flush. “It was a great end to a great heads up match, one worthy of the High Roller event,” SHRPO reported.
