Some of last week’s big losers on the Full Tilt Poker nosebleed tables (see previous reports) turned things around this week and added some six-figure profits to their accounts.
The High Stakes Data Base reports that the action involved many big names in the game and spread across a variety of poker genres that included NLHE, Pot Limit Omaha, 8-Game Mix and Limit Deuce To Seven Triple Draw.
At the top of the most successful players was Alex “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn with a profit of $547,804 for the week, followed by Hac “trex313” Dang ($501,848), Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau ($446,803) and Phil “Polarizing” Ivey ($338,069).
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom’s downswing continued and even gathered momentum as he went into the red over the week by another $950,000, bringing his annual losses thus far to $1.6 million – a particularly harsh blow considering that he was up by over $2 million in February 2014.
Gus Hansen’s incredible bad run also continued; with The Great Dane dropping another $204,367 over the week to bring his total losses to a mind-boggling $18 million…a record for Full Tilt Poker and surely one of the biggest downers in recent history.
One of last week’s big winners, Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius, found himself at the less pleasant end of the scale this week with a loss over the seven days of $157,259.
