Two online poker websites will be no more by the end of this month following announcements from Playboy Poker and the online poker division of Casino Gran Madrid.
Just two years after it was relaunched (see previous report, Playboy Poker will close its virtual doors on July 27 without giving any other reason but that it is the result of a business decision.
Players will be able to log in and play out their account balances and comps or withdraw their funds until the cut-off date, with the company guaranteeing that withdrawals will be executed within 24 hours. Funds will still be available for 30 months but not accessible through the shuttered website after July 27.
Customer service and advice will be available via email after July 27 at support@playboypoker.com.
Land casino operator Casino Gran Madrid has announced that it is to close its Spanish online poker operation on July 31. Only poker is affected by the closure – other online verticals will remain operational.
Players who are exclusively interested in online poker will have until August 31 to play their account balances away or withdraw their funds and exchange comps and loyalty points for cash, or for entry until the end of the year in live tournaments at the brick and mortar casino.
