The introduction of HB1114, an online poker legalisation bill sponsored by Representative Sherry Appleton, a Democrat from the 23rd District has seemingly fallen flat.
Curtis Woodard posted on Online Poker Report Thursday that Appleton responding to a constituent who commented on the bill, said: “The bill did not get the support that I had originally hoped for and consequently we will not be moving forward with it this session.”
Woodard, a recreational poker player from Seattle and the man behind the Washington Internet Poker Initiative, was instrumental in drafting the bill together with Appleton.
