Mason Malmuth, owner of top poker forum TwoPlusTwo, has advised that he has suspended Winning Poker Network advertising and forum activity pending a response to an email he had sent to WPN chief executive Phil Nagy regarding alleged ethical and fairness issues at the Americas Card Room skin.
The email was dispatched February 24, asking for Nagy’s perspective on issues that have recently been raised involving the use of “…bots, possible super users, and other possible collusion.”
The allegations had surfaced earlier in the month on high profile blogs, reporting “…the widespread use of bots, multi-accounting, collusion and the possible existence of ‘superusers.”
It was a tough decision for Malmuth to take; WPN has been a regular advertiser and participant in the forum for the past fifteen years.
