The 2017 48th World Series of Poker will get underway later today (Tuesday) and run for the next forty-nine days at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Nearly 500 poker tables have been set up across more than 100,000 square-feet of ballroom space to accommodate players from around the world who attend, what many consider to be, poker’s preeminent tournament.
The tournament kicks off with Event 1, the $565 Casino Employees No Limit Hold’em, formerly known as the Casino Employees Championship.
